The enchantment agony gives random bad effects at the target of your arrow.

you should build autopackager (i think it named like this) - it will automatically pack all sieved ores. like small stones into cobble, crushed ores into crushed ore block and so on and make automatic breaking system to break it to the level of dust

For the open blocks tanks, you should be able to put a tank in the lower right corner. It being the lowest tank, all the other connected tanks will flow into it. Then using a fluiduct, pipe the mob essence into a drum elsewhere. Be careful with how many tanks you use though. On my Agrarian Skies map, I had 240 full with lava, which produced a considerable amount of lag. But they looked cool. :) I think putting a vacuum hopper above the kill area to collect the drops from burned mobs would be neat. Would see the items floating up as they come down the conveyers.

I was thinking if you wanted to keep with the look of the tanks, and the main storage drum you're currently using could be hidden.

If I did, SFM would only see the 16 buckets available, and could only move 16 at a time.  This way I can move all 100 buckets for a villager with one button press

You should be able to use a normal comparator to detect if a quest has been set on the QDS. You cannot tell which one, but it at least helps you to remember to select something

Anyone else entertained by the "I've got mana to spare" comment? I definitely am. <3
NiNi PokaSpot (3 years ago)
Haha. Quite alright. It made sense to me.
FunshineX (3 years ago)
Caught that eh?  Not sure where the slip originated

Great episode FunshineX.  I use a similar setup that uses the comparator redstone output of the QDS to prevent wasting resources.

To help deal with your sieving products, put an auto-packager to the right of the output chest, with another chest to the right on the packager. It will automatically craft items in the left chest in 2x2 or 3x3 grids and put them in the right hand chest. The stones will go into cobble and all your ore's will get turned into gravel, sand and dust ready for smelting if you ever want to completely automate the system. It requires little power and saves on storage space and time! Hope that helps if you didn't know about it!

System is already in place after recording this episode.  I'm about 3 ahead atm

Great job explaining the SFM programing process! You should be able to skip the hopper and second drum and insert directly into the QDS. You could also put a slight fail safe of a comparator on the QDS and when the QDS has a quest set it will emit a redstone signal, you couldn't verify that it was the right quest but you could at least prevent wasting the materials if you forget to set a quest at all.

You should use the Sign editor thingy from SFM to show you if you are missing something. Like a monitor kinda thing :P
FunshineX (3 years ago)
not a bad idea - I'll give it a try if I have time
