Depending on how many platforms you want to work on, depending on how large the game is, there are a lot of variables in there. A lot of people use a platform calles Unity 3D which is a multi-platfrom engine so you can build one game on this engine and deploy it via iOS, Android so that way you have a larger market audience. The problem you've got then after that is when you have the game and you've deployed it you then you've got customer aquisition; an industry standard is you're looking at $3 per customer. I wanted to talk today a little bit about creating rapport with your customers. And I want to apologize advance because I had to actually write some of this down, because it's a lot of content and I want to give to you. There are two ways of selling, at least in my mind. The first way is you can buy tons of ads on places like Google adwords for advertising or sort of traditional marketing, whether that's magazines or billboards. But there's also a second type of marketing that we know which is way more effective which is called building rappirt with your customers. Now, this is not anything new we've heard about it for many many years. And that's were a lot of this try my product for free, get a free sample, give away free content or a white paper. The problem with that is, now that, you know, SEO is dead and content is king; how do you stand out when everybody else is actually doing it? And that is the question that we have, certainly even when I'm selling my product is how can you stay ahead of the competition and how can you really build rapport with your customer and perhaps in another way? And aside from giving away your product, the key thing I want you to remember is to actually engage a customer beyond your product or service. And you do that by creating an experience. The experience is such that people need to connect with you as an individual if your sole proprietor or with the personality of your brand. And it's really really important to have congruency between your brand personality as well as the way you're selling your product. Now, Gen X is all about "hey give me a free trial and work". That doesn't necessarily work with millennial's. Millennials are more in the experiential type phase. They want not only the product, but they want some sort of a feeling of belonging and experience. So what I need you to remember is when you're trying to create, "you know I've got this free product that I'm giving away" what else can you do? What is it? What other things can you do, whereby you get 10 times more than any of your competition. That's the first thing. How can I give 10 times more than my competition. And that could be not just freebies and extras l, but experiences. And I'll leave that up to you to decide what that experience is, because it's really unique for every particular product. More importantly the tone with which you provide, not only a product or service but your experience, has to match your brands personality. If they are not congruent you're not going to be building rapport and you're certainly not going to be standing apart from the rest of the competition. On Monday night, Apple's CEO Tim Cook boasted, for the first time, about the Apple Watch. He touted the 3,500 apps now available for the device and bragged about the "overwhelmingly positive" response to the new line of smartwatches. He even said Apple may have misjudged the higher-than-expected demand for certain models and watch bands. The one thing that Cook didn't reveal during the earnings call is the one thing that every analyst, technology reporter, Apple fanboy and Apple hater wants to know: how many of these tiny, pricey, wearable screens has Apple actually sold? Analysts are convinced that Apple is guaranteed to sell millions of the shiny gadgets, overtaking competitors in the nascent smartwatch market and creating yet another new billion-dollar product line. The incredibly tight supply of watches at launch — some customers were given 2-3 month wait times when preordering — hints that Apple could be trying to make the watch more coveted at the start by virtue of being scarce. First let me explain what it is. It is a method of doing business on the web where you give something away for free (notice most websites are either fully free or mostly free) in order to get a mass of people to come to their sites and become regular visitors or users. Once people become regular visitors or users, the next part of the freemium business model dictates that there should be some way to make money from those people. The strict definition is of the freemium business model is that something basic is given away for free, and something more complex or valuable is then upsold to the people who are using the basic product. Hence the name of this concept is the combination of the words free and premium. But you don't necessarily have to sell things to make money. The most common revenue model online is the ad revenue model. With ads, you make money from your website visitors without necessarily forcing them to buy anything. The advantage of this approach is that you get a mass of people who come to get something for free. And while they are interacting with your product, you get to be able to show them additional marketing and sales messages in hopes of converting them to paying customers. This is the beauty is the freemium business model. Additionally, you get to take the people who come to your business in order to get something for free, and have them not come to your competitors, which helps to suffocate them and decrease their sales while increasing your sales.
